Art programs for Inmates at the County Jail
VISUAL ARTS CLASSES AT THE DUNN COUNTY JAIL
The arts provide a safe and expressive outlet for everyone. Through AIM’s “Art in Jail” program, inmates at the Dunn County Jail receive formal visual arts classes taught by university students who are practicing arts integration as part of the process of becoming teachers. Instructed by UW-Stout’s pre-service teachers, inmates explore creative media and processes to increase their artistic skills, express themselves, and allow for personal growth and discovery.
