APPLY FOR A p.a.i.n.t. INTERNSHIP
A.I.M. invites UW-Stout students who are studying to become teachers to participate in P.A.I.N.T. (Program for Arts Integration for New Teachers). P.A.I.N.T. offers paid internships for college students to teach arts-themed classes on campus and in the community. University students grow their skills and confidence in teaching, while also performing a service to the community.
Hired interns earn $10 per hour for a 20-hour pre-PAINT internship and $12-$14 per hour for a 35-40 hour PAINT internship. Supplies for classes are paid for by A.I.M. Interns paid bi-weekly through UW-Stout payroll.
P.A.I.N.T. interns are UW-Stout students in education programs, seeking teaching certification (Art Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Family and Consumer Science Education, Technology Education, Science Education, Math Education, and Business and Marketing Education).
Decisions regarding intern selections are based upon the applicant's schedule, reference and background checks, prior P.A.I.N.T. experiences, and quality of responses in the application.
